5-State Livestock Invitational Beef Weigh-In

  • 5 State Invitational 2019 General Rules
  • The 5 State Livestock Invitational will not be held responsible for any damages to, or losses of, property while exhibitors are on the fair grounds for the duration of the show.
  • Out of state exhibitors welcome. If crossing state lines, must present health papers at check in.
  • Show management reserves the right to alter and/or combine classes as seen fit or make any revisions the day of show due to unforeseen circumstances that may arise. All show day announcements take precedence over previous announcements.
  • Exhibitors are welcome and encouraged to show out of their trailers - especially for the swine show. Limited stalling for the swine show will be available in the east barn and the south half of the west barn. The north half of the west swine barn will be used for staging swine classes (See map of show barns for reference). The floors are concrete in both barns. There are mIster systems plumbed into the east barn. NO WOOD CHIPS WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE EAST BARN. Wood chips can be used in the south side of the west swine barn as well as in the steer/sheep & goat barns with a $25 deposit per pen that will be returned only after the exhibitor has cleaned out hes/her pens and they have been inspected by show officials.
  • Classes will be announced 3 times leading up to each class. It is SOLELY the exhibitor's responsibility to ensure they are in place for their class. If the ring help has not been notified of an issue by the 3rd time the class is announced, the reserve the right to not allow and exhibitor to show.
  • Must be at least 3 animals of any breed or will show in AOB
  • Entry fees: Beef = $20/head All other species = $10/head.
  • Only 4-H and FFA members are eligible to enter. Exhibitors must own animals shown including showmanship. (Exception: If exhibitor has 2 or more animals in same class.) Only animals entered in show are eligible for showmanship classes.
  • Each exhibitor will only receive ONE top payout per specie. (ex: Exhibitor has grand and reserve grand doe. Exhibitor can only take one of the two monies awarded.)
  • Lambs will show slick, shorn, and free of active club lamb fungus lesions.
